Grettle passed peacefully

Grettle on Grief - Sun, May 11 2008

Friday morning we had to put
Grettle to sleep. She slipped into a coma. We layed with her for three hours holding her. But as morning broke we knew she would never wake up. It was a very peaceful experience and I feel blessed to have been with her. We already knew she was dying because she had been diagnosed with bone cancer two weeks ago. I miss her but I know she if running and playing up in doggy heaven.

Oh, how sad for you and your family. She was a beautiful Rottie. You'll be in my prayers.

We're so sorry for the loss of Grettle. Another one of our dear IP friends went to the Rainbow Bridge earlier in the week, and I know that Freckles was there to greet Grettle. I'm sure they're running all around heaven now. {{{hugs}}}
