Freckles' memorial

I know that they are looking forward to seeing everyone. I'm so sorry that we can't be there... Freckles was Kirby's Schmoopie. We'll be thinking of you!

I don't think I can make it, either, but I'll be there is spirit. Pass on my love to Rose and the gang.

I'm not going to be able to make it, but I've been thinking of Freckles and her family. I'm sorry to miss this!

I'm going through medium-large dog withdrawal around here.

I'm sorry I won't be able to make it. I will be driving Bogie to Richmond for his journey to his forever home. We'll be thinking of you all.

I so wish that we could be there to remember Freckles but we already have other plans. We will thinking of all of you though and remembering our friend Freckles with love.

AWWW, it does not sound like a good turn out. I can not come either. Mommy is still not well. We all will be there in spirit. Could you do this again another time? I know many of us loves Freckles. Give us a heads up on this so we can make a plan to attend.

We'd love to come, but we are going out of town for a few days.

Joe and I plan on being there. If anything changes, someone give me a call. :)

We really want to come. My daughter is begging me... I don't know what to do!! I SHOULD be there to open the neighborhood pool.... but, in my daughter's words, "Freckles is WAY more important". She's so right. My hubby doesn't WANT to work at the pool but thinks we should...

I'll be there in spirit since I'm still in NJ and can't make it. I'll be thinking of Freckles tomorrow a.m. and wishing I could be there to give her family hugs...

Well, tell hubby to stay home and work on the pool, and you and your daughter come to Paul Ruster Park! Then everyone is happy! (kinda, LOL :)And Freckles IS more important! I'm not being my usual lazy self, and sleeping in on a Saturday, I'm waking up early (for ME, cuz I usually sleep LATE on non work days) to come. ;o)

The beauty of weekends is that you can always go back to bed! (At least that's my plan) I just remembered that Maggie CAN'T join us...she's overdue on some of her vaccines. Can't let Lil' Cujo out like that, ya know. Darn it. :-( Hey Kelly, is stinky Joe gonna be there for me to hug him??

Yes, Joseph WILL be making a long overdue appearance tomorrow!!!! :)

If you are coming German Church Road, head south, and you will cross Washington Street. Keep heading South until you get to Prospect. (on this 4 way stop, you will see Creston Jr. High on the Southwest corner, and a large soccer field to your left) Turn left at this 4 way stop (Prospect) and just a little way down the road (you will be heading East) on your left, you will see Paul Ruster Park. If you come from 465, get off at the Washington St. East exit, head East till you get to German Church, then take a right, and follow previous directions. You will go quite a ways till you get to German Church, if you come 465. (you will pass the mall, Sams Club, Walmart, Marsh is on corner of German Church and Washington. :)

Ditto! That also means I get my medium-large dog fix and also my fix for houndy scent from JJ! Sorry I totally spaced getting Maggie updated...guess we'll do that this week...

I don't know when she had her last shots but our dogs are on the 3 year plan per our vet and they are totally fine. Since she's an adult dog that has been regularly vaccinated, she should be ok. I don't know what the dog park requires but that's our vaccine protocol around here.

Okay....if I left now (1:09am)....phooey...still wouldn't make it. It's about a 9.5 hour drive from GA to Indy for me. Sorry that I'm gonna miss the Freckles memorial and what sounds like great company. I've gotta work this weekend anyhow, but know I'll be thinking of all of you...especially Freckles and family.

So it's 8:20 on the morning of Freckles memorial at Paul Ruster Park. We're just couldn't keep Maggie at home, so we're taking her to the vet for her shots at 9:30 this morning. Hopefully they'll be quick and we won't be too late, but plan on us making a fashionably late appearance. Wait for us!....
Check that... We're coming on time with the lil' Cujo with our vaccination records. We'll see if the park will take them. If not, then we'll keep her in the car.

Remember BFFs and parents...what happens at the Dog Park, stays at the Dog Park. Or does that only apply in Vegas?

We are so sorry to hear that you lost your dog Freckles. Please accept our condolences.

Mom and I were planning on going but Daddy changed our plans at 9am. We hope Rose and Brian realize how much Freckles was a part of IP and how much she will be missed.

Just remember that we will all be thinking about you during this time of grief. Bless Freckles' soul. :)

We're all so sorry we missed Freckles's memorial, 'cuz Ruster Park is really close to us. We remember Freckles funny sense of humor, and her sage wisdome, too, and it's hard not to see her pretty face and those beautiful long ears!! It's good to know that our Sashi and Freckles are together wearing angel wings and flying around causing mischief and waiting for their next assignments!!
