Gags at bugs...

I never get a chance to post on here. All of my other fur siblings tend to take over, I think I need to be more assertive.

I have this weird thing I do. Because I'm a cat, it's taken me a while to post this. It's kind of embarrassing. Ok, here it goes.

Dead bugs make me gag. There. I said it. I do not know why but they do. I killed one yesterday and when I really looked at it, I gagged. Dad thought it was funny. I thought it was repulsive. Dead spiders do this to me, too. And ants, beetles...

Maybe it's because they give off a weird "dead" smell or something. But as soon as it's dead, I want nothing to do with it. Sometimes I go back to it to check it out and *gag*, I have to walk away. Oreo and Pearle continue to bat it around and dismember it. Eventually, in Oreo's case, he eats them. I don't know how. He's apparently seen too many episodes of Fear Factor.

This has been weighing on my mind and it feels good to share it with all of you. I don't even think that Kirby, Hoover and Lola know this.. Hmm, they will now. Oh boy..

Have the same thing around here. I kill them and the Fe-Lions eat them. Puck!! Yes, it has to do with the stinky bug syndome......LOl

Cookie, I don't gag, but I sure don't eat them! Once they quit "playing", funs over and I go looking for other bugs.

Kirby, my mom laughed hysterically at your comment! You always crack mom up! Mom always says Ewww! at those things that have a bunch of really long legs. They're kind of nasty looking. Minnie and I will try to eat them. It grosses mom out!

I've tried to catch flies but not eating bugs....although I've never tried them. It's cool, Cookie. We all have our little weird things.

Cookie, it's ok. We all have issues at some things. We'll get you into a support group and maybe a psych exam, but you will be ok. YOU, will be ok. (gently pats Cookie on the back)

Personally the flying type bugs really honk me off....like flies, of course, but bees and wasps...well, you get my drift. Anyway, I just snap and snarl at 'em...those stupid bees and wasps pack a heck of a punch back however....beware!
