Pup thrown out of car

Talked to a friend I used to work with today and was told that they have a dog at the facility that an employee saw thrown out of a car.

The dog is a young, female, terrier mix. She has TN rabies tags that they are in the process of tracking but it isnt happening fast. They also say that she was just spayed in January and has a tattoo on her belly to indicate that she had been spayed (great idea!)

Happened near Mooresville. Any help would be appreciated!
