Mom put me ont his lloooooonnggg leash and took me out to the front yard, (Always fun, becuase I don't get to go out there to play much.) and she cleaned out the front gardens. I got to help!

First she got this rake thing out...kind of scary. I hid behind some bushes while she did this. Then she got on the dirt with me and we pulled weeds! She pulled them, and I "killed" them.

The best part of all was that I got to DIG!!! I am a mess and oh, so happy!! Sometimes I dug under the bushes, other times in the mulch, and sometimes in the super soft dirt. We were out there for about an hour and a half!! We came in and I crashed for a nap. Kirby and Hoover stayed in the back yard, and were kind of jealous. Mom said she had to keep an eye on me, so that's why I got to go out front. Sometimes it pays to be the puppy!!

When dad gets home, we're going to work on the back yard!! Woohoo!! More soft dirt to dig in!! Kirby, Hoover and I have already made short work of a few areas, but here's to hoping that we'll discover more dirt to play in!!

Um...one bad point. Mom said that I'm going to be getting a bath. Oh, well. All the more reason to get super dirty!
