Boomer won't play with me!

Brad on Activities - Sun, April 20 2008

Boomer won't play with me. Everytime I try throwing a mousie, chasing him with a cat chaser, play tag, or king of the hill he just sits there. I asked him what was the issue at dinner. He said that the Squirrel Army is at it again. Hopping from window to window all day without any naps makes him tired. You know, I tried to be neutral in this war. I fed the squirrels but opened windows for Boomer to keep an eye out. No more. No person or creature keeps me from playing with my Boomer. Boomer, sign me up, I'm joining your army! Time to kick some squirrel butt!

Mom, dad and sis are on the fence with this war. I've heard mom say that she thinks the squirrels are 'cute' and likes to watch them. Hoover almost caught one 2 days ago, but it got away. There's nothing we (Cookie, Pearlie and I) can actively do to get the squirrles since we are not allowed outside. What I can do is report any odd behavior to Hoover. He then relays it to Perl and Ernest T.

Wow! If you're joining our army, Brad, could you be the chief driver? A couple of us have drivers licenses, but it's very difficult for us to get cars without our bipeds noticing.

Deuce, I understand your frustration with the driving issue, but let's not forget Brad's prior conviction for neglect. He is clearly not completely responsible in matters of commitment. Sir Denny Crane

Well, he is a man and it seems that lots of men out there have commitment issues.
