I DON'T LIKE QUAKES

Dude, Mom just felt another quake about 15 minutes ago. It appears, from the info on the USGS website, that there was another quake. 4.5 on the richter scale.

NOOOOO! Now mom tells me that we could potentially feel aftershock and such for a week????? NOOOOOOOO!!!!

Mom was in her jeep so she didn't feel the after shock but I sure did since I had to stay at home. By the way...mom and dad have earthquake coverage on their homeowners insurance policy.
Our friends are not laughing at her now.

I slept right through it.

It upset me! I woke mom up because I was thumping and running around my cage. Our house didn't shake but I felt something!

We didn't notice the first one because we were in bed. During the second one we were up with mom and went crazy barking and running around. I hope we don't have a lot more of those!

Uh, today's been labeled Lazy Friday, so I've been in bed with mom and we've been having a snoring contest. 'Nuff said.

I felt them both. I was at the eye dr. when the second one happend, so I don't know what my furkids did. I can imagine that if the kids at school felt it, that's all they'll talk about for the rest of the day! Poor teachers....

Holy Smokes--Is it safe to come out? Mama T said I was a crazy woman this morning. Running laps, jumping across the furniture. She gave me a extra Tempation to calm me down and told me it was okay. I think I'm going to hide under the covers with ETB today!

I've been very barky all day. Suspicious of every sound. It doesn't help that it's windy outside. I'm under the covers, man.

Today, I'm in charge of the bed 'cause it moved last night. Uh-huh. That's the story. Besides, Freckles is in the big bed, so I've got to protect her, too.

We were up, cause mom was in the kitchen making her lunch for work, but we did not seem to notice the earth shaking. Mom and dad definately felt it though!

I was growling at the light that was making noises & swaying in our room this morning. Then I ran thru the house whimpering and whining looking for the cause of that noise. Mom said her building downtown was swaying during the aftershocks today. She had many experiences with Quakes in Japan but this was the first one in Indiana.
