Ours has to be either the squirrel in the wall or the bird in the house. The squirrel was a stitch - noise in the wall, four sets of eyes fixated. Then, all of a sudden, the squirrel runs up the wall. All four sets of eyes in unison look towards the ceiling! The bird had Sheila doing 5 foot leaps through the house trying to catch it.
It would either have to be Alvin getting his head stuck in a kleenex box ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B_2u8qsIXT4 ) or more recently, Ziggy finding a feminine hygiene product and trotting through my condo carrying it around in his mouth. Fortunately, I did NOT have guests at the time.
When Kirby was about 4, we had a neighbor who had several cats. They were always outside on leashs. One day a cat got loose and came into our yard. Kirby had been moseying around oblivious to this cat. He looked up when he was about 2 feet away from it, (the cat never moved or hissed, just sat there) jumped 6 inches straight up in the air like a cat and did a complete circle. He landed just like he did when he noticed the cat sitting there. At that point the cat ran away and Kirby stood motionless and terrified, like he had just seen a ghost. I thought my husband and I were going to pee our pants from laughing! After he regained his composure, Kirby came trotting up the yard smiling like, did you see that?? I chased the cat away! If we had that on video, I think it would have made national news!
You know us labs we love to bird watch...catch birds..chase them. I knew there were bird nests in some of the spruce trees in our yard. Mom was going out to get the mail and I decided to show her my climbing skills. I also wanted to get to that birds nest. I proceded to climb about 5 feet up the branches of the spruce tree to get my prize. I not only climbed the tree once but two more times right after that. I did not get my bird, but mom was sure laughing at me.
