Lawn Care

Donis on Shopping - Tue, April 08 2008

Hey just curious is there a product that I can put on my lawn where my dogs pee that will help prevent the grass from turning all brown and dead looking? This of course would need to be safe for my dogs. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

There are products like that. If you go to someplace like Lowes or Menards you can find an entire section devoted to helping lawns revive from pet pee. I know we've used one of them and it was safe, but I can't remember what it was called.

I was just looking for the same thing over the weekend, and Lowes does not have it. Fosters & Smith has several products on line, one that you put on the grass, and the other you give to the dog. Be sure to check with your vet before giving any of these supplements to your pet. My vet did not recommend it for Bailey since she is 10.
