Found Black Lab

Driving down the road and saw a black lab, he stared my way as I slowly drove by watching him, so I put the car in reverse and went back to him, opened the car door and he jumped right in!

He was lost!

But.....he had his rabies tag on so I knew what to do. Rabies tags are tracked through where the vaccination was given! I took him to the vet that administered the vaccination and his owner was there within 15 minutes! He was also chipped which would have helped to had he not had a rabies tag.

Just a reminder to all! Make sure your critter can be identified! If he had neither I would be posting looking for a home for him, his name was Buck.

And for all you dog lovers out there, a tip! Always keep a cheap dispensable leash in your car, you never know when you will need it!
