Oprah Tomorrow

Rachael on Laws - Thu, April 03 2008

Tomorrow's episode of Oprah may be the most emotional for all of us pet-lovers. Lisa Ling and Oprah have done a report on the horrors of puppy mills. I finally saw the commercial for it, and I know I will be watching. She is an animal lover, and it appears that most of the audience is as well (the commercial showed many tears). From that, I think the topic will be done justice.

Many of you participate in the protests (and I will be going to one soon) will also want to see. While none of the footage is going to shock me, I want to hear what Oprah tells the public. She has such a massive viewing audience, and will be able to spread the word faster than anyone else. I just hope she stresses not buying from pet shops, and maybe people will finally understand.

So, is anyone else going to be tuning in (or Tivo-ing)?

I had just saw the commercial too. I'm going to be watching to. I just hope I don't forget about it.

I am glad that you all have been posting about this. I am not an Oprah watcher, but I really want to see this. I HOPE & PRAY that is an eye opener to the public. What time does she normally come on?

I am going to watch it too. This could be a really good thing. She comes on at 4pm.

I'm not much of an Oprah fan, either, but I somehow end up watching her show often! I'm glad I heard about this one, though. At least she's using her power and influence for something good this time around!

I am going to ask mommy to leave the tv on so I can watch it. She will be at work. I wish they would air a program like this when more people can watch it. Maybe, we could get Grett, Nancy Grace or Larry to do one. That would be GREAT!

Hey Star Hunter, Mom watches all those shows too!!!! She usually doesn't watch Oprah but she did mention the show tomorrow, so we may be tuning in. If its really sad though, Mom won't get thru it. Thats just the way she is. Maybe I could get Sunyr to tape it for me. I just can't get the hang of those tape things. BYE

Saw it advertised. Mom's going to need a box of kleenex for it. Hopefully, they'll give us ideas of how we can all unite and help.

We'll be watching. Mom has always liked Lisa Ling since she used to be on The View. Lisa is a great activist and reporter for National Geographic.

I love Oprah, but don't get to watch much because I'm at work. Just so happens, I'm taking today off so I'll be watching. Oprah does a lot of good shows. She usually doesn't have trash on like Jerry Springer and Maury Povich do. I HATE those trashy talk shows.

I'm going to try to watch, but I just don't know if I can handle it.

I agree. I always love what she does, and it makes me really hopeful that this has been done right. Oprah was almost in tears on the preview, and so was half the audience. God knows I'll be bawling the whole show.

I am taping it since I won't be home today in time to see it. I saw the commercials yesterday and just cried from seeing those. This will be a hard show to watch. I hope that all of her followers will get involved with stopping puppy mills!

Mom will be at work so she set the VCR and the DVD recorder in case we mess something up while we’re alone. I don’t know what she thinks we do while she’s gone. :D
