From one Boomer to another (though be it across species) I assure you neutering is not that bad. For most animals it detures some destructive animal behavior that we typically use to show off in front of the ladies, detures from the smells emitted during breeding season, and even helps in controlling the pet population. Besides, I'm sure you get a lot of treats and love for going through the operation. I know I did!

My Mom did the same thing to me. I was going to do some showing, but when my puppy teeth fell out, my adult teeth came in crooked. My vet said I could get braces and Mom laughed at him and scheduled me for a "snip snip". It wasn't that bad...you'll get through it :)

Dad had my tutoring done with lasers. It was more expensive but well worth it. I was up and running again 4 hours later cause the doctor said I could. You might want to ask your mom to look into that. It's a lot less invasive, heals up alot quicker and is alot less painful.

Oooohhh Boomer...you are going to become what my mommy refers to as an "IT!" And I think us "IT" dogs rule -- whatever "IT" may be!

Daisy, I was a show dog & didn't like it. There's thousands of all these other dogs there in the same bldg. & boy, are some of them ugly. They also wanted to sniff my butt & I really didn't like that. Mom had to give me herbal stuff to calm me & she decided if I hated it that much she wouldn't make me do it. After what she said about the nooooootering the show world is beginning to look better & better.
