OT: I need a work out buddy

Woo on Activities - Fri, March 21 2008

I've been having back problems lately and I've been advised to strengthen my "core." I live in the Castleton area and would like someone who wants to do pilates or yoga or anything besides running...hard on my back. I haven't joined a gym, yet. I am looking at the new Lifestyle Fitness and the Pilates studio at Clearwater. These frequent spasms and subsequent pain are affecting the time I can spend with Carolina and we are in the beginning stages to adopt another furkid, so I'd like to be hale and hearty for them. Feel free to either PM me or post a comment.
Thanks!

Weight/strength training is good for the core as well. Don't be afraid of those no-necks in the free weight area! They're big, but not always real smart. ;) Deadlifts and Squats are great for core strength... and also promote a firm, shapely heiny. Hire a trainer for a session or two to learn proper form and you'll be surprised how much those two exercises help.
