Weight/strength training is good for the core as well. Don't be afraid of those no-necks in the free weight area! They're big, but not always real smart. ;) Deadlifts and Squats are great for core strength... and also promote a firm, shapely heiny. Hire a trainer for a session or two to learn proper form and you'll be surprised how much those two exercises help.
