Chihuahua for Adoption

Alena on Activities - Thu, March 20 2008

Hey guys,

I wanted to let you know that if you know anyone who might be interested in adopting a pet girl chihuahua, there will be one available.

My breeder has decided to place the puppy she bought from me because she's so small--maybe 3lbs full grown and there's really no point showing her in conformation because she won't be able to be bred. I haven't seen any updated pics of her, but I imagine she's still quite the fur ball.

Since any one of you guys would be a fantastic home for Stevie's little girl, I wanted to ask you firt if you knew anyone or if any of you would be interested in her. I imagine she will need to be spayed. She has the super wonderful personality of Ted and Layla I hear--the entire litter was blessed with great personalities! She will make the perfect pet for anyone who wants a cute little longcoat chi girl.

If anyone is interested, just let me know. I don't imagine the adoption fee will be much (certainly not any higher than the Humane Society's adoption fee on little dogs...HAH!!!). She is currently about 6.5 months old.

Thanks!!

I think I'm sorry she didn't turn out to be a showgirl, but I bet she will make someone a wonderful pet. Your babies are such well-socialized, happy-tempered kids! I will spread the word.

I wish I could take her in. Your little Chihuahuas left a good impression on me. If only there were more room. I will keep my ears open, though. I'm sure she'll find a great home.

Yes, these are wonderful chihuahua personalities--not nippy, nasty, bitey things :) Even when she was a puppy, she had a clown personality, so I bet she still quite clownish :)

Potentially, someone could show her, but she will be too small to breed...which is fine and thus, she should just be spayed. If she's anything like Ted and Layla and Glenn, she can probably do therapy or some other type of work--or we can start the smallest flyball team ever!!!

That flyball team is something I would pay to see. I can't even imagine how cute it would be!

I am so wanting to get a Chi, but right now am in the process of moving from an apartment into a house (on the 29th in fact). I wouldn't want to bring my worst enemy into my current chaos---LOL. If this was only about a month from now!!!!

I'm working Daddy but I don't think we'd have much luck....
