Bees! Bees! Bees!

Lady Penelope on Activities - Thu, March 13 2008

Whoa. I was just outside and there were tons of these little flying things that kept swooping down at me. I started to try to chase and bite them and Ma told me "No!" I've never noticed these things before! There were at least ten of them dive bombing me! Ma said they are the first ones she's seen this year. It's a sign of things to come! C'mon spring!!

Mom won't let me chase the bees either. I really don't think she's worried about me, though. She says the bees make her flowers bloom. Now I want to leave them alone. I LOVE mom's flowers...for lunch.

My Molly was allergic to bees too, Hoover! She only got stung once but she swelled up real bad. I think she knew to try to stay away from them after that! I got stung one time when I was a baby and my Ma says I swelled up so fast and so bad that she could barely get me out of the car seat! Be careful buddy!

Dad saw a fly yesterday. Where are those cats when you need them?

Fe-Lions are never where you want them and always where they should not be....HA! Mommy had a little fly bothering her at work today. She also has seen Robins. Spring is here. YA!

Whenever Dad sees a bee, even if he is indoors and the bee is not, he runs and hides like crazy. One time he ran so fast he tripped over himself and had to crawl away with tears in his eyes. I told him, "Next, time try hiking up that skirt of yours, Nancy." There is no doubt with bees he is a scardy cat. LOL...he wouldn't even see Bee Movie...Ha ha ha.
