I'm up a creek without a ladder or something to that effect. I have a friend that is moving in two weeks. I told him that I would help him find a home for his cat. He is moving to Louisiana to live with his sister. She is highly allergic to cats and has a very high prey driven Chow. Plus his cat is elderly so I'm not sure she would even be able to make the ride. She is a beautiful soft gray and white long hair spayed female cat. She is about 12 years old. He adopted her when she was about 2 maybe. She is a totally inside cat and has only lived with him so she's not used to alot of activity. She has not been vaccinated because she never goes anywhere near the outside and he has no other pets. I just don't have any place for her. I can't take her with my prey driven Doxies. I thought one of my nieces could foster for awhile but now she can't. I think she needs an adult home. I have no idea how she would be with other animals. She is pretty mellow in her old age but I'm sure the move will be stressful. Does anybody have any ideas or suggestions? He's driving me crazy and I've got so many other things that I'm trying to handle right now with dad in the hospital. She will come with all her food, litter, pan, toys, etc. She's a sweet cat and just needs someplace to live out her life in peace. Thanks for your help!
I wish he knew that if she was good with other cats or dogs. I kind of assume that she'd be pretty stressed in a home with other cats and dogs..... I'll keep my eye out, too.
