favorite toy???

does your pet have a favorite toy? one that they border on obsession with? mikey does, LOL. of course, he loves all his stuffies...he loves to shake them so hard that they hit both sides of him, LOL. but he has this ONE toy....it's a rubber squeaky type toy...a pink elephant, and when you squeeze it, the trunk and tail rolls out. has anyone seen those toys? well, anyhow, i call that his "piggy", LOL. he does NOT like anyone to even LOOK at that toy. he will sometimes pick it up, and carry it around the house, pacing, pacing, pacing...looking for that "perfect" spot to place it. someplace safe. someplace where it cannot be seen..in plain sight, of course. he seems to like to set it down (oh so gingerly, might i add) in one certain corner of this throw rug, in front of the entertainment center.(occasionally, he will sit it down, look at it, then readjust how it is sitting!) sometimes, we will find it in odd places, on the beds, under the table, all places that i know he took it there to...hide it, LOL. i swear, it's like an OCD! one time it must have been on the dog bed behind the recliner, and rolled off, under the chair. when i opened the chair up, it went, "SQUEEEEEEEEEEAK!!" and mikey went nuts! he was barking and going crazy, LOL. sometimes i will hold the toy, put my finger over the squeaker, but make the trunk and tail roll out, haha. he will bark and WOO-WOO-WOO at me forever until i set it down, then he will commence to the ritual of picking it up, and carrying it all over to "hide" it, LOL. terriers in general seem to have some OCD type behaviors, i've noticed, and this seems to be mike's. if something ever happens to that toy, he will lose his mind! those soft toys come and go, but this "piggy" looks as new as the day i bought it, because he NEVER plays with it, or even squeaks it!just carries it around like this! does anyone else have a dog that is weird like this, or is it just MY dog? LOL!

I love Francie Pants, but she's driving me a little nuts. I just want to go back to sleep and she just wants to play. ARGH!

OCD and favorite toy -- nope, not a thing. After all, my balls are MORE than mearly toys. It's not one certain ball though -- it's the ball of the day, minute or hour. They change for my favorite but they are all mine. I do try to hide my favorite bones around the house like Mikey. Mom has found them behind pillows, in her bed, by the fireplace. I've even forgotten whewre I've burried a one before until it was months later (yes, preScout)

I'm with FranciePants. My favorite toy would be Ojo. I have lots of toys but am not obsessive with one certain toy. Except I do enjoy my nighttime chewie that I drag to bed.

My favorite chew toy is Linus. However, my favorite overall toy is a green stuffed frog that Mom bought me the day I came home. I've never torn out the innards or anything on him. He's pretty gnarly, but he's my fav.

All of my squeeky stuffies are my faves. When dad comes home from work, I run to our (MY) toybox, grab one and run with it to dad while barking and howling with it in my mouth. I do not put my toys away, so by the end of the week, if mom hasn't put them away...I'm hard pressed to find one in a pinch.

My favorite toy is Oreo. I love my big cat brother. I body slam him, do the snooka you name it, I've done it. We're best buddies. Now...Hoover comes in a close second. We run and play like crazy outside and in the house. We tear around like there's no tomorrow..

My favorite toy is my very first toy Mom ever bought for me, my squeaky squirrel. His tail used to be nice and fluffy, but I ate all the hair off of it. As far as the OCD behavior, no I don't do this, but it sounds funny!

Mine is my orange rubber squeaky. Since its made of rubber I can't chew out the squeaker so it's lasted a long time. Also, it's really loud and I can be really annoying with it especially when my parents are trying to watch t.v. and not paying attention to me. :)

Grandma got me a plastic ball that squeaks. I think it came in a big six pack from Target way back when. It's the only ball I play with. It squeaks with little resistence and it barely bounces on the ground.
