Hiding Toys

Fergus on Activities - Fri, March 07 2008

So Mom figured out that Murphy and I had stashed a little catnip mouse and 4 rattle-balls in the little space beside the dishwasher. Mom worked hard to get the little mouse out for me, but the rattle-balls are too far back and Dad has to move the dishwasher to get those.

Anyway, Mom gives me the mouse and she turns to put the flashlight away, and when she turns back around, I am trying to shove the mouse under the stove! Mom said "Oh no you don't. I didn't dig that mouse out so that you could shove him under the stove." So she threw my mouse into the living room.

A few minutes later, she comes back into the kitchen and I have my paw under the stove. Yep, I shoved the mouse right under the stove right after mom told me not to.

Where do you all like to hide your toys?

HA! That is funny. You can sure keep your mommy busy. I don't hide anything. I may not find it back.

I like hiding them under the stove. It is so fun, trying to stick my short legs under there trying to get them. I wonder why that is a fun spot to hide things under?

I never hid my toys. But does hiding a collar count. I done that two times. One time I stuffed it in the corner, and the second I hide it between the mattress and the backboard of the bed.

My stupid dog brothers eat all of my toys, so who knows if I would hide them. I am pretty mischevious though, I am thinking I prooooobably would : )

Yep, that counts. I have stuffed a mouse or two between the headboard and mattress, too. I forgot about that hiding place!

Does in the water dish count?

My balls always find their way under the hutch. It has just enough space for one to roll right on in. Any given day, Mom can find at least 10 of them under there.

Under the fridge, under the stove, under the TV, and in my water dish. Mom's most thrilled about the last one...
