Ice on our trees!

Like a lot of you, we have tons of ice on our trees! Ma and Pa came home last night to branches down in the yard and some were hanging so low you could touch them! These trees are very big trees and some of the branches are hanging over our power lines. This morning, a huge branch fell on the line but didn't do any damage, but boy was it loud! The power line was swaying and bouncing up and down. It was kinda scary!

Pa called the electric company last night to tell them we have sparks coming off of our power line because part of a branch had broken off right at the line and was rubbing on it. It was flashing and sparking, it was also flashing and sparking on the line behind one of our neighbors. The electric company never came out. We still have power, so I guess it can't be too bad.

I put a few pictures up on my profile of the damage. The pictures don't really do it justice, it looks like a bomb hit in our back yard!

The sun is coming out now, melt, melt, melt!!!
