Free Akita,Southside on Craglist

just on craigs list someone has a Akita for free because the guy does not want an indoor pet so he keeps its chained up outside.Said the dog will be going to a shelter tonight if no takes it!Me being a owner of an Akita mix I would love to go get it and bring it back here but I cant.I was just wondering if anyone knew Monica or her sister Paulas phone #
or better yet Pam from wagsstray phone # to see if they could help out in way?It said the dog is under 1 yr. and its posted under pets.

We have a beautiful German shepherd on our street that gets left outside on their deck all the time; called the police once...dog barks ALL the time! The owners are foreign, so perhaps have different backgrounds as to animal care, but still...breaks my heart to hear him bark,"its cold out here!" I just don't get the value of owning a pet, if you're just going to leave him outside all the time???
