Chased by a chair!

I spent a lot of time outside this afternoon since it was so nice. I laid in the grass, chased birds and ended up snoozing on the deck.

The wind really started picking up when the sun came out, but I didn't mind. The breeze felt good. I wasn't even afraid of the leaves blowing around me...much.

However, it got REALLY windy at one point during my relaxation on the deck and OH MY GOSH, I was attacked and CHASED by a chair!!!!!!! This thing was sitting quietly in the corner like it always does and then it just came after me! I got up real fast and tucked my butt under and then slipped and finally got away from that possessed chair! Mom came to the sliding door LAUGHING and me! I KNOW! She said "Hoovie, it's ok... (laughing), come on in."

Let me tell you, I'm a little wary of that chair now. There's another one out there too, but so far it's been nice. I'm not giving it any chances, though.

Beware of deck chairs on windy days. They are unpredictable.

I've been barking at the evil wind all day. One of metal deck chairs blew over! I'm going back under the covers, Hoovie. Smell ya later.

Our fireplace has been making howling noises all day. I just KNOW that Nutmeg's Monster from the Oven has followed me home and is waiting to pounce on me when I least expect it. I'm keeping a low profile but I'm sleeping with on eye open to that evil fireplace.

At least one part of the day was nice for you...I don't blame you about that chair or a howling fireplace. I'm hoping that only happens in Indiana.....not here in Georgia. If a chair came at me, I would really be scared.

C'mon down, Hoovie....our daffodils are in bloom now. This time of year is the best in the south. In March the cherry trees will bloom too. The rest of the year....not so great. Too hot and dry in the summer and the winters are too mild to kill off bad stuff. But I guess you have to take the good with the bad.

Woah that sounds reawyy scary! I never got chased by a chair but I did jump up on the wall and grab something hanging, mom called it a mop, and I swear that thing is evil! It scared the fur right off of me when it came down on me. Watch out for biped stuff, it can be unfriendly at times

Yep, flowers....that is if mama can keep Tweeter and Rescue outta the flower beds. Even our hyacinths are coming up....I think they smell so good.
