How to search for humans????

Mama Muttblood^..^ on My Blog - Thu, January 31 2008

Is it possible to search for humans on the site? I just tried, using my own first name, under which I post, as Pet Name and nothing came up. Suppose I remember that Kris or Monica or whomever posted something initially that I wanted to respond to, but I don't remember what the topic was or on what day it was posted. Under the current conditions I would have to not only go back through the posts, but open each and every one to see who originated it. If that were an actual pet post, I could put the pet's name in the search box and pull up everything that pet had posted since the site inception. Does my description of the problem make sense? Is there something I am missing (as is so often the case!)?

How funny...I was just going to pm the site manager and ask the same thing. I've tried several different ways, but can't figure out how to search for humans.

Searched for my name and I came up (along with a beagle named Connie), but it did bring up my profile when I searched for my name under pet names. However, Amy, it does say you do not exist. So, for some reason it isn't pulling up everyone's name.

I searched for you under "Mama Muttblood" and you came up as Amy - could be that since it was your original blog name the system is somehow retaining that tag instead.

How very strange! I searched for Rhonda, and you didn't come up. I searched for Ann and Connie, and they did. Searching for some of my other peeps draws a blank, too. I'm not sure of the mechanism, but I wish it could be standardized somehow.

Wish it was standardized as well. Hopefully they are working on all of the issues. I thoroughly enjoyed the site before but now not so much.

I don't come up when searching for "Deanna", but if I type in "CatHerder" it works.
