Toughest toys around?

Sugar on Shopping - Sun, January 27 2008

Mom needs some help. I keep chewing up every toy I get within a week and they are just too easy to get through! We are all stumped on what to get, cause those Tuffies toys sure aren't working. Mom got me a level 9 toughness and I finished it at the beginning of this month. Craziness or what? So I need to know what would be the best toy to have!

Thanks!

I chewed up a new toy in the time it took mom to get another one out of the box!!! She hasn't found any chew proof toys for me yet, but keeps looking! The Tire Bitters aren't worth the money, or the Busy Buddy stuff. I chewed those up quick. Mom can tell you what doesn't work!

My parents bought me a Mega Tuffie ring for x-mas priced at about $20. The package said it was tiger tested and dog approved with a rottie picture on the package. Well, let me tell you IT IS NOT GODZILLA proof. Had it shredded in less then a week. LOL

Well, duh...that's the fun part of the toy, right? Chewing the stuffing right out? Isn't that why they give them to us? To get all that white stuff out for them?

Ruby and I can chew up toys in minutes - even kongs. We stopped getting any toy with any amount of give or rubberiness to it after we chewed up three toys in a row that were supposedly indestructible in under 20 minutes. Which is too bad because we love those best.

The only toys we can have are the Nylabone big chews. They are hard, and two of them have lasted 10 months. Wow. The other ones are newer, but still holding up just as well. We love to pounce on them and gnaw them for hours. Sometimes mom will dip them in peanut butter too, which is great because it gets in all the grooves we make with our teeth.
