received messages

Looking for advise here!

A couple of days ago I received 2 messages from a member. The first just said "what are you up to," the second was not very nice and not related to anything that has to do with pets. Living in the moment I just deleted them and went on but now that I am thinking about it I am wondering if anyone knows of a way to report these as unwanted or to block this user. I know you can flag a post but did not take the time to see if I could report private messages.

I come here to talk to and listen to other pet lovers like myself, not to be harrassed. I am not angry or ready to leave Indy Paws, I love coming here everytime that I can to read what everyone has to say.

Just wonder if anyone would have any advise!

hi ana, sorry to hear some weirdos were bothering you! what i would do is save the e-mail from them,(copy it) but contact the site manager. (you can go to her profile, and send a message straight through that way) copy and paste what they send you, to the site manager, and she will take care of it, either by warning the sender, or by deleting their account all together. things like this will not be tolerated on indy paws, but you just have to always report when anyone has harassed you, or sent you any unwanted messages. hope this helps!

good advice jersey joe! sorry to hear that you experienced that, Ana, most of us are not that creepy. Just a little pet-obsessed is all!

Thanks, but as I said I just deleted them. I know this is not the norm, I have been here since the start and this is the first time I ever had a problem. If I get any more I will surely save it and send it to the site manager!

I know you all are not creepy, just goofy like me. That is why I love it here!
