Hey! That's the first time HSI has recieved a crested I believe. Mom and the other staff, vets included, were always on the lookout, but they never came in. Probably not a good sign if they start showing up in shelters more. This dog would be better off in breed rescue--Hairless Cresteds have special skin needs that require someone with research knowledge or experience which I'm sure no one at HSI has with the breed. They also wouldn't make a good shelter dog. I doubt that he'll be there long, and hopefully, he'll get adopted by someone who knows something about the breed--otherwise he could end up there again. He's beautiful with all those spots!!!! $400!!!!! Wow, that's pricey for a rescue.
