Spend more on pets then yourselves?

Marty McFly on My Blog - Tue, January 15 2008

I am just thinking, this weekend I took Marty to the dog bakery and he got his bones. Marvin usually gets something so he's not left out. I took Marty to get a kennel cough vaccine so he can go to daycare ($20 each time) and his heartworm medicine - $70. While I was there, I saw a reflective vest that he could wear when we run $15 (note: my running shoes are skunked and badly in need of replacement). If the pets get sick, they are rushed to the vet. If I get sick, I try to ride it out because I don't want to take time to go to the doctor. Anyone else fall into this trap?

I've needed new glasses in like forever, not to mention many other things that I would LIKE to have. But I'm always dropping into Petco or PetSmart to see what' on sale, or buying them things from my own catalogue. I justify that by saying that I am paying myself. But they are the recipients!

AWWW! We puppers deserve it. We love you no matter what. I don't care if your hair stands straight up and you have no makeup on. You just look at me with loving eyes. You are all I have. You fullfill my needs because, I have been domesticated and can not hunt for myself. I am your best friend, I will protect you to my death. What more is there to say
