Oh thank goodness!!! Mom was really worried about our poor Aunt Monica, stupid airlines had her all stessed out. I guess she really had a ruff time getting back from Atlanta. I am not sure where that is at but it sounds far away. Make sure you give her lots of puppy kisses, they make everything better. We are glad your Mommy is finally home!!!!
Wow..you mom and dad are really prone to wander. I've not heard of too many dogs wandering from Indiana to someplace that they need an airplane to get homr from. I think your parents need some behavioral training, a microchip, GPS and an invisible fence with a high shock. We're glad she's home. I can't imagine WHAT would be in the laundry room that she'd be feeding.... mom's feeding the washing machine right now, but it just gets clothes. Be careful, ok?
Cocoa Puff, I will fill you in on a little tid-bit of information that Blitzen and Chase have conveniently forgotten to tell you--your Momma has a sickness. This sickness causes her to forget how many dogs she has and allows more to roam into her home. You also have a big sign above your door that says "Wayward Animal Inn"...the homeless, hungry, and sick are welcome. That there in your laundry room is most likely another guest at your inn.
Cocoa Puff, did you have to catch her in a live trap? I bet she was scared to be away from her pack for such a long time. Was her fur matted and filled with burs? I hope you all gave her a bath before you let her get on the bed. Glad she is back home with you, but I'd be a little nervous about whatever was in that laundry room. It might be a Heffalump.
I think you need to step security up a notch at your house. In addition to everything Lola suggested, I think your parents need to be tatooed with Grandpa's phone number or something on them. That way if they're lost again (Dog Forbid) on a weekend or at nighttime, the finders won't have to wait until the next day to figure out who they need to call. Grandpa's number will be right there on their inner thigh, like some show dogs and Canine Companion dogs.
