WOW!!!! i have also heard of people putting their animal meds on their insurance, hehe, saying it was for themselves. i guess it worked, but not saying anyone should DO this......... ;o)

Have you ever tried to order of Drs. Foster and smith.com? Don't know if the price is any different, but they have excellent customer service and cheap, quick shipping right to your door.

We get all our dog meds from Drs. Foster and Smith esp. since we order all the meds at once and pay only one shipping cost. Freckles used to get Xalatan eye drops from the Kroger pharmacy...it was $95.

Unfortunately, this is common. I'm not sick very often and most of Hannah's drugs I pick up at the vet because they're under $10, so I don't typically shop around. Usually the prices vary anywhere up to the $20 range, but occasionally you see a difference this high. Drugs are probably the only thing I will not order online, unless it's through a service my doctor recommends. There have been cases of people and animals receiving tainted medicine from all places around the world under an online company that appears legit. I'm just going to program the phone numbers of several pharmacies close to me in my phone and call around the next time the cats or I need a prescription filled.
