I have my own profile too!

Ted on Behavior - Sun, January 06 2008

Hi everyone. Ted here (aka, Teddy bear).

I'm now 4 months old and turning out to be a hideous chihuahua mom says. But, she still loves me because I have a "one of a kind" personality that is so desirable among chi's. Not to mention, I'm incredibly intelligent, unlike my sister. I already get to take naps with human mom--hehee...my sister can't say that.

Technically, I'm "still for sale" but she's holding onto me longer because I've developed popping hocks. Not popping knees, popping hocks. Mom's breeder and many other breeder friends have never seen this in their dogs. It's probably a connective tissue baby dog thing (just like human babies). It doesn't bother me, but it sure sounds gross when I scratch my ears. Anyone every had a puppy with this condition?

Well, I'm getting neutered in a few weeks so we'll see what the vet thinks about my hocks.....

Can't wait to see you at the Petlane Party on Jan 19th. Look forward to meeting new small dog friends!!!

Ummm, Teddy Bear is it? I thought you looked familiar. You look like the stuffed animal in my human sister's pet net, but you are warm and cuter. How dare your mom call you 'hideous.' How would she like it if you called her a name? Anyhoo, Welcome.

Popping Hocks sounds like the name of a rock band.
