Foster homes needed

Sophie on Breeds - Sun, December 30 2007

If you've ever thought of fostering a dog to help the many thousands of dogs euthanized in shleters every day, make it your New Year's resolution to do it today!

I'm a foster coordinator for Love of Labs here in Indy and I see dogs put down every week simply because there is no home to bring them to while they wait for their forever family. It is just that simple--the more foster homes we have the more dogs we save.

If you can help check out our link at www.lolin.org.

Thank goodness for foster homes or I would be in the pound right now and praise be to those who foster, it is not easy work! Mom just took me as her first foster. It is rewarding but very demanding at the same time. Of course she has always opted to adopt a rescue whenever looking to add a furbaby to the home. More fosters are needed but it is not for everyone either.

Yeah, thank goodness for fosters for me, too! My "fosters" ended up keeping me! Hah! They failed fostering, but I don't care! Good for me!
