Sad news.

Cosmo Kramer on Grief - Thu, December 27 2007

Before I came to live with my family I lived in a yard with two other adult dogs. They didn't like me very much and were always mean. When Mommy and her friend came to rescue me we were in the backyard like always with no food or water and a tiny dog house that our owner said we could share. We called animal control and told them everything. We told them about their living conditions and how their owner feeds them whenever he would remember. So maybe every four days or so. He would abuse us by kicking or punching us anytime we did anything wrong. But I was a puppy still when Mommy rescued me so how am I suppose to know right from wrong. He got me so I could breed with his girl dog and make puppies so he could make money. He also thought he could fight me. Mommy says I'm a baby and would have ended up being a bait dog. Anyway, on Christmas Mommy talked to her friend that helped rescue me and she got some bad news. The two dogs that lived with me were never confiscated by animal control. They had to stay living there and one died recently. Mommy's friend said said that he left them outside in the weather like he always did and one of the dogs froze to death. Mommy cried when she found out and then felt better about how I came to live here. Mommy's friend talked to an animal control person and they can't really do much without having the dogs body. All my Mommy's friend have been coming by to visit me and give me love cuz I'm sick and now cuz of this. Mommy can't believe it.

Oh Cosmo Kramer, that's so sad. I'm really glad, though, that you were rescued from that. Every dog should be so lucky.

Cosmo, that is so sad. You were one lucky pup to have your mama come and rescue you. Let's hope that the other dog might have a better outcome. That b@st@rd ought to be left outside to freeze to death. Sorry if that sounds harsh, but that's the way I feel.

I second that - let the punishment fit the crime and make him live outside in the elements! See how he likes it. That is so sad, but thank God you were rescued from that fate!

Momma is MAD AS HELL! She feels like this...they should make that owner starve for about a week and then let him sit outside in the freezing temps! Well, momma feels let the punishment fit the crime when it comes to us 4 legged babies!

That stupid man. Like Mama Muttblood said, let HIM freeze to death outside with no shelter. What a jerk. I'll be the place he ends up will be HOT!

This makes me cry. I wish they knew this by unknown--
He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion.

I'm really glad you were rescued, Cosmo! You're a beautiful boy. That man is just SICK! Mom gets mad whenever she thinks of dogs left outside all the time. Us pits don't have much fur anyway. How are we supposed to keep warm? Stupid idiot people!! Our society does a poor job protecting children and animals. It's just SAD, SAD, SAD!

Mommy is in the process of trying to obtain the remaining dog. According to Mommy's friend, he has no plans on bringing the other dog inside. So if no one is going to help that dog then
Mommy says she is going to have to.

Minnie I agree, Mommy has to buy me a thick, fleece sweater because I shiver when I'm outside. The laws are just not good enough for animals or children.
