Greenwood Protest Updated Info.

Strudel on Activities - Fri, December 21 2007

Hello Everyone--
Just wanted to ask that everyone try to arrive at the Greenwood Uncle Bill's just a bit early so we can all walk over to the store at the same time.
Please park in the Value City parking lot (same side of street as Uncle Bill's) and wait there for everyone to arrive.
Do Not park in Uncle Bill's parking lot.

Also, the public easement is narrow so you might want to consider leaving small children and animals at home for safety reasons.

See you on Saturday at 12:00.
If you have a sign feel free to bring it along. If not, we will have about 40 signs. Just want to make sure we have enough.

Just as a reminder, anyone who is able, whe could also use your attendane at the East side Uncle Bill's on Washington St from 2:30 to 4:00.

Thank you again for all your help.

I usually post at wierd times when no one is on. Early am or late pm almost am. There will be a few extra signs but we definately need more people to attend to eastside protest. If you can persuade someone to come along please do so.

where will you be meeting at the East Side store? Are there any rules to follow? I assume since you mentioned the easement that we have to stay on that? Sorry, I've never done a protest before. I'm still not sure if we are training on Saturday, but if we are, I still might be able to make the Eastside store.

Someone that knew what they were doing created a press release for me. We don't have an exact location to meet at the eastside location. Just look for us. Permits were not required for either location and the Greenwood police wouldn't give me one.

since things had been screwy with me the past few days, i'm a little behind. i will FOR SURE be at the one on east washington street. (i was thinking it was happening sunday, but tomorrow works better)i will try to whip up some signs, but if i can make the southside protest, too, and be able to get back to the east one in time, i will see if i can "borrow" some of their posters, too. as far as where to meet on the east side UB, there is a bank in the front part of the parking lot. i will be driving a black dodge ram 4x4 truck which has K9 SEARCH UNIT on the driver side and passenger side doors. i'll also likely have a big red bloodhound with me, haha. whoever needs to find me, that is where i'll be, parked in the lot kind of outside the bank lot. (it's the general parking for this whole strip, NOT the bank's parking lot, so lets use this area to gather and decide what to do) i have already made several phone calls in the past 15 minutes. we will get a LOT coming to the east side one. UB owners are gonna be sooo pi$$ed, haha. :)

TODAY IS THE BIG DAY!
We will get there around fifteen minutes until noon. I am driving a 1990 red & white Ford Bronco II with a smashed bumper. You can't miss my monster truck. :)
