Stuart is an Angel Now....

Oh my, this is so sad. We are all crying for you. Stuart is at peace now though, bless his little heart. How wonderful that you were with him as he went to the Rainbow Bridge. Our pets definitely leave footprints on our hearts. Our sympathies to you and yours from Daphne, Annushka, & their Momma.

It's never easy, is it? Just try to remember all the good times and good things, and remember the love you both still have for each other.

We are so sorry for your loss. Mom and Dad had to give my sister (God rest, Cleo) an IV of fluids twice a day for 6 months before they had to make that awful choice to let her go to the Rainbow Bridge. It still brings tears to Mom's eyes as I write this. Look for the buff colored cat Stewie.

i want to say thank you to everyone. your words really do help me, and thanks to the ones of you who stopped by or called. all of your kindness means more than you can know. i have saved a little lock of black and white fur, and stuart is laying on his bed peacefully. when my husband gets home, we can bury him, and have closure. i just look over at him and i swear i see him move, or twitch his whisker, but it's just my imagination. he is not in that little body any more. i love him so much, it will be difficult to get used to only having one cat meet me at the back door now. the good thing is i have time to heal, and good friends to share my grief with, or tell funny memories of stewie to. you guys are awesome, i love ya.

I'm so sorry Kelly. I know this is hard around the holidays, and I hope this won't bring you down. Remember that now he feels no pain and will wait to curl up on your lap again. If there's anything you need just let us know...{{{hugs}}} Elyse

What sad news. I know how hard it is to lose a great pet, but just try to remember the great times you had, and don't be afraid to cry. We're here if you need us and we'll be thinking of your whole family during the holidays.
