NYC going No-Kill

Casey on Shopping - Mon, December 17 2007

Just wanted to pass on this article on NYC which is making an effort to go no-kill. I think maybe Maddie's mom had recently brought up the question that some of these specialty pet stores could be adoption centers for rescue groups. They are doing this in New York City so why not Indy too?

You will probably have to copy and paste the link.

I wish all cities would take this step in the right direction! Indinapolis, with the help of many generous, not-for-profit organizations is well on it's way to becoming no kill. Here's hoping!

Well, hot damn and hallelujah! Sounds pretty progressive. I always thought that I would have my dog(s) with me at a store if I had one, but this is a much better idea!
