Anybody else shedding?

Guys, I'm totally with you on this--- mom says she can knit another corgi with what I drop.....but she got me a furminator and we love it!!!

Yep, it's normal. Least that's what someone told me. Dogs will shed their enitre coat twice a year, once for winter, and once for summer. Obviously the hair doesn't fall out all at once, but they'll lose their summer coats and grow a winter one. Rather than just adding fur to their summer coats. I think this is dumb too, but I didn't design 'em. There is a conditioner out there that will release the undercoat of the dog, so they'll shed horribly for about two days after you use it, and then it'll go back to normal hair shedding. I don't like using it, cuz it clogs up our sink, but it does cut down the shedding time.

Me too !!!!! I seem to be shedding more than usual for this time of the year. Could it be because of the "warm one day, cold the next" weather we've been having? Momma wishes Santa Paws would bring her a Furminator!'

Mom says she's about ready to disown me if I don't quit covering her with white hair. Those stupid Basenjis seem to hang on to their hair but I sure can't. What's a Furminator? Should Mom get one?

I'm leaving chunks of fur around the house. Usually mom can pluck the chunks off my legs and chest. But for whatever reason I'm just letting them fall out on their own.

I'm with ya on that one, Truman. Mom says there's hair everywhere.

mom groomed me and jersey joe last week, so we aren't shedding hardly at all now. WEEEEEE!!!!!
