I'm in TROUBLE!!!

♥Zoe♥ on Behavior - Wed, December 12 2007

Last night, Momma was eating some soup in her bed. She said she was tired and just wanted to be warm in bed. Well, what she had to eat smelled so good. I got really excited and was jumping all around. Next thing I knew, the soup was up in the air and then all over Momma, the bed, and the floor. Momma was so mad at me. She had to do 2 loads of laundry and clean the carpet before she could go to sleep last night. Momma told me that I am not allowed in her "space" anymore when I eat. She was so mad at me that she wouldn't let me in her bedroom for a little while. She told me later that she was sorry for yelling at me, but that I have to stay in "sit" when she is eating from now on. I hope she is in a better mood when she comes home tonight!!!

Oh no, not the soup! Hey I can feel your pain on this topic. As much as our moms and dads love us, they sure are sensitive about their food. My mom once made the mistake of leaving a perfectly good Hot Pocket on the tray stand and it was gone in 5 seconds flat. TOO EASY! I don't know what they get so bent out of shape for...I would share my food with her! :)

Soup in bed?!? Yikes, that's daring!!:) I've spilled Ma's cereal bowl countless times, but never soup!! I hope it wasn't too hot!! Mmmm what kind of soup? Beef? Beef & Barley? Vegetable Beef? Mmmm Beef.

It was hot...too hot for her to start eating it. I think that is why she was so mad. She said that it burnt her legs. I am just glad none of it hit me!!! Don't know how I managed to get away without a drop of soup landing on me!

Ouchy! Well, you better tell your Ma "sorry"! That could have turned out really bad! Glad you're both okay!!

Zoe- 2 weeks to Santa Paws. You need to start making up for this one. Lots of Zoe lovin should do the trick.

Uh oh....just tell your mama that you've learned a really valuable lesson and you'll never do it again....unless you forget, which is understandable....but try not to forget at least until Santa Paws comes and leaves you lots of gifts. It probably wouldn't hurt to give her the sad eye look and kinda cock your head to one side....you know how to work it. Kisses and hugs might help too. Good luck.

I forgot about Santa Paws.... Hmmm I really will need to work my charm on Momma. I certainly do not want her going to Santa and reporting this situation.... I see I have my work cut out for me for the next 2 weeks!!! I better check my stocking too. It was full of stuff (Momma doesn't know I pay attention to that)but maybe she will give my stuff away to other puppies if I am not good! No presents from Momma or Santa?? That would be awful!!!

Our mom gets grouchy when we get in her space while she's eating too. She is really good about giving us the last bite though. That's a rule in our house.

Hello???? Zoe's mom????? Hot soup in bed with a dog? I don't think you can blame this one on Zoe.

Zoe's mom here...usually Zoe doesn't pay any attention to me when I am eating soup...last night you would have thought I was eating steak!! She was going crazy!!! So, ok, I had a laps in judgement...we made up and she slept on my head last night so I think all is forgiven!
