The Never-Ending Saga

Gunner has been on the S/D food for 3 weeks last Saturday, and was still leaking. After a urine sample, we found his crystals are gone, but he's still showing symptoms. My vet had no idea what to think and wanted another opinion.

My vet talked to the internal specialist today. Both agree that this is a weird situation. They are hesitant to accept the diagnosis of incontinence (and so am I). Luckily, there is a plan of action.

Gunner is going in to the vet Sunday night when my mom goes in to work. They are doing an early morning urinalysis and a blood draw. From that, they are going to gauge how things are traveling through his body in the hopes of finding anything abnormal. We want to rule out (or diagnose) diabetes. The vet is also looking into kidney problems. I hope we find an answer soon, because this is getting stressful.
