naughty speedy!!!

Speedy and (RIP) Stuart on Behavior - Wed, May 30 2007

ever since mom decided to let me and stuart lay on the deck in the sun, he and i have become so much braver about trying to sneak out the side door. (don't worry! there isn't anywhere i can go, i'm surrounded by a six foot fence and decking!! ;o)we used to be real chickens when anyone opened the door, and we ran back inside, because mom trained us to not run out. well, now that i'm getting to be an old man, and stewie ain't no kitten anymore, mom thought it might be fun. she put a board across the one area i could get farther, and we hang out, laying in the sun, our pupils all little, watching the birds. today when she was bringing in the groceries, i snuck out and when she got near, i'd run back in. well, tonight, i was naughty!!! when mom was opening the door for jasper and joe, i RAN out!!! (heh, didn't think i was that fast anymore, huh mom?)she had to chase me, then get on her knees (in her nightgown!! HAHAHA!) to get me out from under the bench! ohhhh, the POWER!!! MUAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! I CONTROL THE WORLD!!!! then she brings me in, and gives me canned food and cleans out my litter box!!! man, it doesn't get any better than this, haha!!! cats rule!!!! :o)

I LOVE going outside. We always have a fence. I am even becoming brave enough to hang with my dog brothers, just so I can soak up some sun!

My sister Izzy and I try to sneak out too whenever somebody opens the door. I'm little so it's easy for me. Everytime I sneak out, mom scoops me up and brings me back in. She mutters something about how I should be glad she loves me so much and doesn't want anything bad to happen to me. Blah, blah, blah. I just wanna play outside! There's all kinds of birds and bugs and that green stuff I like to eat. I think mom called it grass. Why won't she let me go outside and play? Mean ole mommy.
